Nose
Pomegranate, raspberry leaf, rose petal and warm spice.
Palate
Structured and savoury; red fruits are dried rather than fresh, with a salted, almost meaty depth.
Finish
Long, dry and faintly smoky.

South and south-east facing parcels, 30–60m elevation

West Sussex sits on a sweep of greensand and chalk geologically continuous with the Champagne region across the Channel. The cool maritime climate gives a long, slow growing season — the foundation of every Nyetimber wine.

In the cellar

Vinification

Selected parcels of Pinot Noir blended with Chardonnay and a small portion of Pinot Meunier. Extended lees aging gives the wine its gastronomic structure.
